Well, well, well.... it's all about the minor adjustments, isn't it?
So the last time I talked to you I had just had a little unfill to get me to a more comfortable place. Well, I think it's just about perfect. I had been disappointed because I hadn't been sure that this little tiny bit would make that much of a difference, but guess what? It has.
My fill is currently about 5.2cc's or so. That .2 doesn't sound like much, but it's right on track for me. I'm eating less, but not so tight that I'm puking every day. Not to say that I haven't lost a lunch or two, but it was out of stupidity, not the band. I seem to have the most trouble when I'm eating with someone and am talking, I forget to chew. heh... which sends me to the bathroom to do a PB, then I can go back to eating, and pay more attention after that.
Prior to the fill, I was eating until I felt full and then just a little more, but then a half hour later, I was in pain because all that food was backed up and would pull my esophagus to the side if I leaned one way or another. This doesn't happen now because I get full faster, and stop eating sooner and I puke if I eat that "just a little more", so I get that instant feedback that I wasn't getting before this last fill.
Needless to say, I'm back into the 180's.. I would have posted on this sooner, but I didn't want to jinx it!! lol
I want to also say, how much difference 10 pounds makes in wearing clothes. A few weeks ago I was bordering around 194-200 and all my clothes were tight. Now, at 187, my clothes are all baggy and pants I've been avoiding because of the pudge now fit me again.
*Crossing my fingers* This is going well, here's to hoping it continues!!
Important note in regards to the fill...
For the last year, all my fills have been done with a certain size of needle/syringe that made it difficult to get a smaller number because it was harder to read, so we were moving up and down at a .5 or higher range. This last one was so small because the doc changed to a different one and was better able to read the amount he was pulling out. I would like to tell you all out there if you are having trouble with getting just the right fill and your doctor tells you that its too hard to tell if he's getting the right amount... Ask for another size needle/syringe!!! They do make them smaller for better accuracy! I did not know this. I could have saved myself tons of trouble last year had I known this to be the case!!

Ahhh... :)
Wow... ok, so it's been a LONG couple of days. I haven't really eaten since lunch on Tuesday when I ate a third of my salmon burger and some chips. I had that fill after lunch Tuesday and I've been 99% liquids since then. I did slip and eat a bite of chili yesterday which I think caused some problems for me, but mostly liquids.
So after all the complications last year with my band liquid in then out then in again then out completely, etc...I decided that I should be all liquids after my .5cc fill to wait out the swelling. I was good the rest of Tuesday, then yesterday morning, good then too. Yesterday afternoon I was feeling better so figured it might be ok to eat a couple of soft things. I had a slice of American Processed Cheese. A couple of chocolate peanut butter eggs (which I ate because my calories at 4 yesterday afternoon were like 200 or so for the whole day and I was feeling faint), and a bite of chili with a cracker. The rest was water or other clear liquid.
I was feeling a little uncomfortable by last evening, but was able to lie down and go to sleep without much issue, then at 2 AM, approximately, I had this sudden urge to puke. I bolted out of bed to the bathroom and ... nothing. So I put my finger down my throat to get whatever it was that was causing the problem - out. I think it was the skin of the kidney beans that were in the chili. That's the only thing I'd eaten that was a reddish color.
After that I couldn't lie back down again. My pouch was sore, and anything but bolt upright made it hurt, so I slept on the couch for the remainder of the night. This morning I was able to drink water and clear tea, but my Dutch Bros sugar free coffee... no dice. I tried some chocolate milk later on, still troubled.
At lunch I went in to have some removed. We ended up removing .4cc's out of the .5cc's that he'd added yesterday. I feel better now, but disappointed.
Well, that's all for now. I must get back to work. Anybody else out there with these issues? I'd like some feedback. Thanks!! :)

New Fill
Hi All!!
Quick update, I went in for a .5cc fill yesterday. I've been stuck in the 194-200 range for the last several months, even with my running. Seems I needed a little help. I feel tight, but I'm having no issues with liquids. I plan to stay on liquids for the remainder of the day and move to mushies tomorrow. With all the trouble I've had in the last year with fills I'm doing my best not to mess this up. If I have to take any out again, I'll quit there. My plan is for this fill to be my last ever. Cross your fingers for me, will ya?

Finally...
Well, I got a new fill last week. I'm up to 6cc's total at this point. I'm really tight, but I'm also at TTOTM. I got my fill the first day of it (last Thursday), so I'm watching to see that it loosens up in a few days so I can eat a bit better. In either case I've lost about 7 pounds since the fill. I'm stoked. I had gotten back up to 197 lbs, not too bad, but still not good. Now I'm back to 190.
I'm hoping to be back to 185 in the next few days. I'm still riding my bike to work a few days a week. Including this morning.
I'm beginning to think my bike is unlucky though. I've been late to work almost every time I've taken my bike to work. I've forgotten my badge, I've not had access to the bike cages, I've left a few minutes late because of bad planning... etc. This morning I was almost late, my chain slipped off!! Luckily I was coming around the corner about a block from work and I still had about 7 minutes left. (Better planning today. heh) I walked/ran to lock up my bike and made it in on time 'ish.
Anyway, I'm off to play Facebook games. Have a great day everybody!! :)

Ketchup
Ok, some good stuff. Firstly, on Monday I did 4 miles on a stationary bike. I feel like I could have done more, so next time I will do more. I didn't adjust the seat right and it was hurting my ... butt. Now I know you can fix that though, so I don't have to ride like a chollo on a lowrider bike.
In other news... I got a new fill yesterday!!! *feints with excitement* He brought me up to 5cc's. I can actually feel it. My dinner last night was tiny, though I did have dessert, but it was a few hours later. I am a much happier camper.
I was going to go back to the bike today, but it's my birthday and I just didn't feel like doing that. Maybe I'll run tonight if it's not horribly hot.
I have some updated before/after pics that the doctor's office took of me. Talk about a difference. Wow. Even with my recent 15 lbs gain, I still look way better than before. Totally different.
Anyway, that's all for now. Just wanted to keep you guys updated.

Facing the music
I did it. I took the plunge and weighed myself yesterday. I've been avoiding it because of my 4 or more months of unrestricted eating and bad exercise habits. It wasn't as bad as I thought!! I've only gained 10 pounds! I didn't think it would be too bad, I am still a 14/16 after all. My size 14 clothes still fit, but they are getting tight. I really need to get back on the exercise bandwagon. I think that would fix my issues all together. Also, I have my next fill coming up next week, the day before my birthday, so hopefully I'll kick myself in the ass and finish out my weight loss.
I was kind of afraid that I would end up doing this. Getting to a reasonable weight, and then stopping and getting comfortable. I need new incentive. It was easy exercising everyday when I got a pound a day or even a few pounds a week loss as feedback. Ever since my band was loosened, I've felt very anti-exercise, and completely unmotivated. I know it's just mental, but it's so hard to get past it. I still exercise in other ways, try to get myself off the couch alot, do more active things with my kids and all that. But I haven't really been doing a steady 1/2 hour or more per day that I know I should be.
I do walk at lunch most days. That's about 20-30 minutes, but it's more of a stroll than exercise. I need something more than that, really. I really need to get back to running every other day. Hrrumpf.
Current weight: 196 lbs.

Super Tight
So for the last two weeks my band has been SUPER tight. It may have actually been longer than two weeks, but my sense of time is sometimes distorted. It's almost as tight as it was the time I had to have all the fluid out. I refuse to go back to the the doctor and have him take all my fluid out, so I've been trying to work with the tightness. I know I'm only so tight because a few weeks ago I was eating way too much junk and filling up my little stomach to the point of puking. When I puke it swells and tightens.
The part that really gets me and sets me back is that if there's any loosening at all, I start to get snack attacked, and stuff myself again. In the last couple of days I've been excruciatingly trying to hold back. I'm sticking to liquids as much as possible to give it a chance to heal. It's loosening up already. Unfortunately, as soon I noticed that today, I went after some chips! lol I'm a nut. Luckily I was able to put them out of site about half-way through the bag. So, at least I didn't finish it.
I've decided that I'm going to try to post helpful hints here as well. I've talked to some other people who have the band and aren't losing weight as fast as me, and I realize, maybe they didn't have as much information as I did when they started out. So be on the look out for "Angi's Tips". Heh.

Official Weigh In Day
Wow, I've been busy. Work has been fairly busy, and so has home. So many things going on, I forget to post here.
So, I've been so busy I haven't been exercising enough. I'm still losing weight because my band is very tight right now, but that's not enough by itself anymore. I've lost almost 80 pounds (only one more pound to go for that goal) so I'm not doing bad, but I would like to have lost just a bit more by now. There have been set backs, like the surgeries, and the unfill, but it still feels like my fault. I was losing 2-3 pounds a week in the beginning, now I'm lucky if I lose one. I go down, then come back up and then go down again. Luckily it's a downward trend either way. I just wish it would go faster. It would help if I didn't eat so much junk.
So on the exercise front I've been getting in some exercise every week. At least one 45 minute session on the elliptical for the last couple weeks. 1-2 40 minute walks in addition to that. I started week 4 of the Couch to 5k yesterday. That was so frickin' hard. I couldn't believe it. Tomorrow I will do it again. I suspect that week 4 will take me 2 weeks or more to get down completely. Had I not been slacking for the last couple weeks it would have been easier, I'm sure.
Hopefully I'll see you guys again tomorrow when I post my 80 pound loss. lol

February!
Wow, this year is already speeding by. It feels like the day after New Year's and yet it's actually February 1st! I haven't been working out in the last week cause I've been sick. I had a bad cold. It was no fun. I'm feeling better today though, so I should be able to get into the gym today.
Since my fill my eating has been much better. I am not hungry all the time, which is great. I'm a little too much I think, because I've been close to PB'ing several times, I actually did like twice because I pushed it. One was at Olive Garden. It was just so good, I ate till I PB'd, paused, and ate some more. lol I'm bad, I know.
For the most part I've been good though. The hardest thing I've been dealing with lately has been getting enough liquids and protein. In fact, I'm eating eggs right now to get some of that protein!
So anyway, it hasn't been a good week because I've been sick, but I think being sick must have not been all bad because I lost several pounds this week.
Current weight: 186 lbs.

Fill, again.
Well, I was sick of eating so much so I went in for another fill yesterday. Doc says I'm at 5 something. Could be about 5.5, but he was having a hard time telling for sure. I'm glad I did it too, couldn't have been a better time for it considering I gained 3 pounds over the weekend with all the drinking and the pizza. lol I had been down to 191 on Saturday.
Well, hopefully with the new fill, and being able to exercise again I'll be back on track here shortly. I'm hoping for 2-3 pounds a week from here. Maybe more if I get my lazy but up and do some more work.
Current weight: 194lbs.

Still losing
Number of pounds down:

Well, apparently I'm still losing weight. I feel like I've been eating a lot lately, but I guess not. I'm sure my metabolism is better than it used to be so maybe that's part of it. Also, I've been doing muscle building exercises for my thighs. I'm trying to keep them in shape for when I can really exercise again. I have to be careful though, to make sure my heart rate stays down when I do them. So I only do them till I start to feel a little warm and breath heavier, then I stop and take a break.
Sorry for not posting recently. I meant to on my last official weigh in day, last Tuesday, but I got sidetracked. Also, when I'm not losing weight daily it's harder to get excited about posting. I feel like I have nothing to give you to read, heh.
In other news, I have an appointment on the 19th to add more fluid to my band. I've just been eating too much and for the last few days I've felt like I was constantly hungry. Even though I'm still losing weight, it's not very much. It's like a pound a week at most. I'd like to be losing 2-3 pounds a week. Or at least 2 while I'm not exercising.

Fill! Yes!
So last Thursday I got another fill. A good one this time. I'm up to 5.5 in my band now. Yes! I can still eat, but it's small amounts. I'm trying to be very careful to not over stuff it because I think that's what caused the swelling before. I'm also trying to get in my fluids and vitamins.
For breakfast today I had a slice of processed cheese, and 1/4 can of tuna mixed with some miracle whip.
Over the weekend my eating was pretty good. I had taco bell for dinner friday, that was probably the worst thing I ate, but it was only a single taco, so I'm safe.
Exercise wise, well, I'm doing good I think. I'm still running, I've just finished the last day of week 2 of the couch-to-5k, I did that yesterday. I read ahead and found out that in the next week it was going to ask me to run for 3 minutes straight! I freaked out a bit about that cause it seems so long... but ... when I did my run yesterday I tested myself. I did my final run segment, then when the cool-down sounded, I chose to keep running. My cool down is 5 minutes. I ran almost the full cool-down, I stopped running and half a block later it told me the workout was complete. So, I ran 90 seconds (final segment) plus the 4.5 minutes from the cool down, so, 6 minutes total! I'm a machine!! lol So I'm no longer worried about the upcoming week. It's two sets of 90sec/90sec (walk/run) then two sets of 3min/3min. And the warm up and cool down, of course.
In other areas, my size 18's are getting very loose on me. They're still fully wearable, but they bunch in weird ways now, so they're uncomfortable in long periods. I also have that size 16 pair that I got from Old Navy, and those are loose too. I still think they're more of an 18, but it was nice to think of myself as a 16. heh. It's ok though, soon I'll really be a 16! You know what would be really cool? If I skipped 16 all together. If I can manage to wear my 18's without them falling off, till I'm small enough to fit a 14. That would be sooooo awesome. hahahaha I can't wait. :)
So, needless to say I'm extremely happy. Life is good.

Not enough fill
I'm back to 200 lbs again. An even 200. I got there on Saturday and was so very excited to see the number. I've been struggling a bit since my last fill to not eat so much, but my band is still pretty wide open. I have an appointment next week to get a fill, it can't come soon enough. Its not like I have no restriction at all, because I do get full faster than if I had no fill. Thing is though, that it's kinda like how I felt after my surgery swelling had gone down, and they gave me my first fill. It was restricted, yes, but I still could eat like, pizza and stuff. I really don't want to be able to eat pizza. It's a trigger food for me. I'll just eat it and eat it till I puke and that's not good. I'd rather not be able to put more than a bite of pizza in my mouth.
Well, at least I'm still losing, albeit slowly. Well, that's all I had for today, I'm off to go play some web games on FB and read some of you ladies' blogs! Have a great one!

On the way down again.
I've been afraid, I've been petrified... oh wait! That's a song isn't it? lol (Think Diana Ross )
Anyway, I've been afraid to weigh myself. I've gained some weight. I know I have. I've been to the lapband clinic twice in the last 7 days. They weigh you every time you come in. Surprisingly though, I haven't gained as much as I thought. This morning, I was looking in the mirror, and felt like I was skinnier. So I figured I'd better start weighing myself again, just to know for sure. You know? So I did. And I'm back to 201! Whoop whoop! I'm surprised too. Because I feel like I've been eating an awful lot. Must not be though. I'm probably still going to ask for a new fill in a week or two though, because I'm definitely eating more than I should.
Ok, so on to the other part of this story. So, as you all know, I had all my saline taken out on the 3rd, and had some put back in on the 12th. Well, it wasn't enough, so I went back on the 13th... yes, Friday the 13th, and had some more put in. It was not a fun experience, lemme tell ya. So, I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but my port is slightly askew. It's tipped a little to the left so when they poke me for fills, they have to go in at a slight angle. Now, ordinarily this wouldn't be a HUGE deal, I can take a little bit of needling (heh) so long as I get the little pain shot first, but this. This hurt. Not fun at all. The needle going in wasn't the problem, because I had the local painkiller. Once it was under the skin though and he missed the port... that hurt like a motherf*****. He missed about 6-8 times. I lost track at one point because I was trying not to cry. He finally got it, and added more saline. He went back and forth on it and finally decided to put me back where I was before the removal - 4.5. I was surprised, but not unhappy about it. I liked where I was before, it worked well for me.
He had me drink a glass of water, and eat a cracker. Both went down without issue. I have more restriction than I did on the 12th, but still not enough. I'm thinking that prior to the unfill I'd been swollen for awhile. Also, I can't say this with authority, because I'm not a doctor, but I think all the puking may have pulled some of my lower stomach up through the band a bit and it was closing off the passage. When they took out the saline it finally had a chance to heal and go back to it's normal position. That's what I think anyway, in my personal expert opinion. lol
What all this leads to is that when the doc gets back to town (he's out for a few days this week and won't do a fill until he gets back) I will ask for more fill. I'm losing weight again, so I'm not sure how convinced he will be, but I'll try my darndest to convince him that I need some more. I'm eating about two times as much as I think I should. So I'm going to ask for another whole cc of fluid. Bringing me up to 5.5cc's. I have a 10cc band, so that's not too bad I think. I've read other people's blogs who had like, 7cc's in their band. I think enough fat has shrunk around my actual stomach that it's time to go up to 5.5.
Well, I'm outta here for now. Had a late night last night and all this typing is making me sleepy. Hope you are all doing well. :)
Current weight: 201lbs.
Fill....? No, not really.
I'm not weighing myself yet. I'll start up again sometime this weekend. I got my fill yesterday, and it provided some restriction, but not enough to really blink at. I was still able to eat a whole chili cheese burrito from Taco Bell. When I was at good restriction, I wasn't able to eat anything with bread or bread like stuff on it, including tortilla's. So I'm going back in again today to get another .5 or .6 to the band, bringing me up to 4 or 4.1.
That's all for now, I'm on my way out the door. See ya!
Current weight: Same as yesterday?

10 Pounds up.
I've been MIA because I've been busy and eating like crazy. I got all the fluid out on the 3rd, because of the damn pork chop I ate, and for the last week I've been eating everything I knew I wasn't gonna be able to get down soon. I had Olive Garden bread sticks, pizza, pasta, and lots and lots of bread! Sandwiches, toast, etc. I've been a very bad girl. Now, I haven't been eating seconds (except once) and I still wasn't eating all that much in general. Just alot of carbs and stuff.
I didn't do too bad, or at least not as bad as I thought I would. In the first week I was gaining about 1-2 pounds a day, then it must have leveled off a little because I only gained 10 pounds, when I expected to gain 15-20 in that amount of time.
Either way, I've got fluid in there now, though, I'm not sure it's enough. And I'll go back in in a week or so to get some more once this settles. It doesn't feel like enough right now, but maybe tomorrow it'll feel more restrictive. That's usually how it goes.
Current weight: 205lbs.

No more pain!!
OMG You have no idea how much better I feel today.
Ok, yesterday I went in to work. I was feeling ok, not great, but ok. I ate a couple peanuts for lunch, and had some tea. All in all I drank about 2 cups of liquid throughout the day. By about 1:00 pm I was feeling like crap. My stomach was hurting again, and I couldn't drink anything. I even took some liquid vicodin to help ease the pain. I know it went down, but it was slow to take effect. Even when it did, I still hurt, just not as much.
I was completely dragging. I couldn't get comfortable unless I stood up, but because of the lack of food I was too tired to even do that. I had to content myself with stretching out in my chair a bit and trying to sleep/doze. I couldn't really sleep sleep because I was at work, and I was determined to tough it out to 3 o'clock. At three when I got off work I was almost incoherent. Couldn't talk very loud, because that moved my stomach and that hurt. I was in constant pain. It was awful.
I drove home to drop off the uneaten lunch that I had in my lunch bag and some other stuff I didn't need, then went to my doctor's appointment, which had been scheduled for 3:45.
Waiting in the dr's office I had to stand, sitting just hurt too much. I was on my knees on the bench holding on to the window sill next to it so I didn't fall over, waiting for them to call me. Finally they called me back. They weighed me, I was 194 according to their scales. Fully dressed, minus shoes. When they put me in my room I sat for a minute for them to check my blood pressure and whatnot. I was feeling very woozy and light-headed. While the nurse got all the stuff ready to have my saline taken out, I leaned against the desk. Standing, but held up by something.
The new doctors got there a few minutes later. I can't remember their names, but it was a man and a woman. They were very nice. Apparently it was their first day seeing patients in the clinic. They'd been on call over the weekend though, and were shocked that they hadn't seen me. I told them about what had happened since last Wednesday and the male doctor said I should have all my fluid taken out. He verified with me that I only had about 3.5 cc's of saline right now. He said I should leave it all out for at least 2 weeks, then I could start putting it back in again. I agreed, it was only two weeks. I could handle that. My biggest fear is that I don't do it right, then end up having to keep it out for longer. I'm doing so well on the weight loss, I really don't want to backslide too much. A few pounds is ok, but that's it. He also said I should avoid pork chops ones I get my band filled again. Eat some other protein.
They had me get up on the table, just like for a fill. They scoped out my port. It's just under my scar and tipped a little to the left. Like sideways. He said that as I lose weight it should flatten out some. I tried to pay as much attention as I could so I could remind them the next time they poke into my belly. While I was lying there he and the lady doctor looked at my face and said I looked pasty. Really pasty. With that worried look that doctors get on their face right before they send you to get hooked up to an IV.
He pulled out the fluid, and apparently there was actually 4.5 cc's in there! We were all shocked. Someone hadn't written the extra amount down, and since I'd had fills from two different doctors, who knows who did it. Either way, he took it all out. So I'm empty now. I felt better almost immediately. No more pain!
He had me drink a glass of water, and I did. He said if I could drink two glasses of water he'd let me go home, but if not, he was going to admit me so they could catch me up on my fluids. Well, let me tell you, that water was some of the best I'd had in a while. Not because of the taste, but because it was so refreshing! I drank both cups and was ready to go. I didn't feel woozy (as much) and my stomach didn't hurt. Thank goodness for small miracles. This means my band is probably not slipped, which was a concern. It doesn't mean for 100% sure that it didn't slip, but it's very unlikely.
We went up to Albany to drop off our friend that had been at our house for Halloween weekend. On the way up there we stopped at got Jamba Juice drinks. I got a Peanut butter Moo'd with no chocolate. A small one. I only ended up drinking about half of it. Once we got to Albany, we ate dinner at Panda Express. One of my favorite places to eat, that had been out of my reach before. Too many noodles and bread products. I had a "Bowl" which is one entree and one side. My side was NOODLES (my fav, yay) and my entree was mushroom chicken. The mushroom chicken was a little bland, I must say. I was just afraid to get anything spicy, for fear of irritating my stomach.
I was only able to eat about 1/2 cup of the food that they gave me, so I ended up taking alot home. Which is good cause I eated it for brekky today!! :D
I was very happy that I still was not to eat all that food. That means I still have some restriction, which should make the next two weeks easier. I'm doing my elliptical today after my boob appointment (last one, YAY!). I don't know what we're doing for dinner tonight, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it thoroughly. XD
Oh, and for lunch today I had a handful of fries, and a half of a chicken sandwich from McD's, minus the bottom bun (too much bread). It was SOOOO good. You have no idea. Crispy and warm. I had walked to McD's from my work, and it was so cold out I could see my breath. I sat there in McDonald's with my ear buds playing Christmas music and eating yummy crispy chicken and fries. I couldn't ask for a better lunch.

Feeling Crappy
Found out yesterday that my tubes will be taken out today. Big Plus! Awesome.
On the weight loss front, I'm doing alright considering I'm not working out at all. I'm down to 206, which will either level out or increase tomorrow, because they're putting saline in my boobs to increase them in size, so even if I lose a little weight, it'll balance out the boobs. If not, then according to the scale I will have gained. lol It's ok though, I know the real reason.
Trying really hard to get my liquid in for the last few days, because whenever I eat it's 1-2 hours before I can drink anything without feeling like I'm gonna puke. And this isn't even to the "stuffed" point of eating. It's just to the full point. I think there's a chance I may need some unfill, but it could also be because I ate too much at one point last week and it caused me to puke, which leads to swelling which leads to more puking... bad cycle. I'm trying to go easy on it now, and not even eat to full, and I'm trying to stick with soft foods. For the last two days the main portion of my diet has been cottage cheese. I figure calcium and protein. Good combo.
Well, feeling crappy or not, another pound down and closer to 199, so I'm happy I suppose. :)
Oh, one more thing... I was feeling kinda crappy about my progress because of the surgery I thought I wasn't going to lose any weight this month. Well, I was just looking at my weight on the 8th, compared to today... in 3 weeks I've lost 10 pounds. That's awesome. So really, I can't complain.
Current weight: 206 lbs.

Weekly Weigh-in
Time for another fill? I don't feel like I can eat very much, but somehow I've managed not to lose any weight last week. That makes two wasted weeks this month. Wtf? I was sure I would have lost like 3-4 pounds over the weekend. I went camping, and we camped on the bottom of a hill, so I had to trudge up and down that hill about 20+ times to first bring the stuff down the hill, then bring it all back UP the hill. I don't think I ate that much, but then, maybe I did. What's wrong with me? Jeez.
I know I didn't drink enough fluids while I was out there, so maybe it's just water weight, and by some miracle, tomorrow I'll be down to 210! lol. Probably not a chance in hell, but whatever. If I go another week without a loss, I'll schedule a fill. That's that.
On a NSV point... I look smaller. I've been noticing in the mirror that I'm visibly smaller than I was. Sweet.
Current weight: 216 lbs.

Lunchtime Runner
For my second post of the day I will talk about the second fill that I forgot to mention the other day.
I went in on Friday at lunch and saw the temp doctor that's filling in (heh, filling in) until my center gets a permanent replacement. I think her name was Dr. Hughes. She wasn't a very personable but she got the job done. I told her that I wanted .5cc's to 1cc and she asked me why? She said that she's usually more aggressive. She offered to give me 2cc's, I said I'd compromise with her and get 1.5 cc's. She agreed.
The way she did it was a little different from Dr. Yarbrough. I had the skin numbing cream, and with Dr. Y, he gave me a little pain shot so it wouldn't hurt when the bigger needle went in. Dr. H said that the little pain shot made it harder to get in the second needle, and the other needle wouldn't hurt that bad.
So I tried it her way. It didn't hurt all that bad getting the shot. It did seem to go smoother. She got in there, injected the saline and got back out. It did hurt a bit more after she pulled it out, but nothing to write home about.
She had me drink some water, and I could feel the restriction, but had no problems drinking water. I went home and did my pudding test, and sure enough there was a good restriction. It took me a lot longer to eat this pudding than on the first fill.
So I'm happy on that front. I already mentioned some of the stuff I've been eating. My portions are dramatically reduced. Because I'm tighter in the morning, most mornings I just have a sugar free pudding.
In other news... I went for a walk on lunch today and decided to run for part of it. Out of the 45 minute walk, I probably did 1/5 to 1/4 worth running. It felt pretty good. When I got back to the building I was sweating horribly and my face was beet red. It's still a little hot out. I need to run in the shade. lol
I've decided that sometime this week I'm going to start the couch to 5k.
