Wow, I've been busy. Work has been fairly busy, and so has home. So many things going on, I forget to post here.
So, I've been so busy I haven't been exercising enough. I'm still losing weight because my band is very tight right now, but that's not enough by itself anymore. I've lost almost 80 pounds (only one more pound to go for that goal) so I'm not doing bad, but I would like to have lost just a bit more by now. There have been set backs, like the surgeries, and the unfill, but it still feels like my fault. I was losing 2-3 pounds a week in the beginning, now I'm lucky if I lose one. I go down, then come back up and then go down again. Luckily it's a downward trend either way. I just wish it would go faster. It would help if I didn't eat so much junk.
So on the exercise front I've been getting in some exercise every week. At least one 45 minute session on the elliptical for the last couple weeks. 1-2 40 minute walks in addition to that. I started week 4 of the Couch to 5k yesterday. That was so frickin' hard. I couldn't believe it. Tomorrow I will do it again. I suspect that week 4 will take me 2 weeks or more to get down completely. Had I not been slacking for the last couple weeks it would have been easier, I'm sure.
Hopefully I'll see you guys again tomorrow when I post my 80 pound loss. lol

Back to where I was!
Number of pounds down:

Finally! I'm back to where I was before I had to have the band loosened. One-Hundred-Ninety-Three! Yay!! I'm gonna run tomorrow, the second day of week two (C25k). Been lazy, haven't wanted to go run in the rain. I have been exercising some at home though. I did 180 jumping jacks, day before yesterday. That was full awesome.
Next week will be no working out, except mild walking, because of the boobs. Wish me luck that I don't gain 10 pounds!! lol
Current weight: 193lbs.

Been busy
Haven't updated in a while. Xmas season is so busy, it's hard to keep up. My weight is finally coming back down again. Although it jumped about two pounds last week because I was eating crap. I'm back to 194, and if I don't eat stupid stuff I'll be 193 tomorrow, cause I'm just barely in the 194 range. Cross your fingers for me. heh.
Oh, and also, I did the week two. The one I was worried about... it was fine! No problems. In fact, I did it and added an extra 3 minutes of running at the end cause I didn't feel like I was done when it told me to do the cool down. I love running. So awesome.
That's really all I have. Life is going pretty well. I have my final boob surgery on Monday. I get two weeks off to recover, so that should be fun. Have to go buy a special bra today to keep my boobs in place while they heal.
Current weight:194lbs.

Fill! Yes!
So last Thursday I got another fill. A good one this time. I'm up to 5.5 in my band now. Yes! I can still eat, but it's small amounts. I'm trying to be very careful to not over stuff it because I think that's what caused the swelling before. I'm also trying to get in my fluids and vitamins.
For breakfast today I had a slice of processed cheese, and 1/4 can of tuna mixed with some miracle whip.
Over the weekend my eating was pretty good. I had taco bell for dinner friday, that was probably the worst thing I ate, but it was only a single taco, so I'm safe.
Exercise wise, well, I'm doing good I think. I'm still running, I've just finished the last day of week 2 of the couch-to-5k, I did that yesterday. I read ahead and found out that in the next week it was going to ask me to run for 3 minutes straight! I freaked out a bit about that cause it seems so long... but ... when I did my run yesterday I tested myself. I did my final run segment, then when the cool-down sounded, I chose to keep running. My cool down is 5 minutes. I ran almost the full cool-down, I stopped running and half a block later it told me the workout was complete. So, I ran 90 seconds (final segment) plus the 4.5 minutes from the cool down, so, 6 minutes total! I'm a machine!! lol So I'm no longer worried about the upcoming week. It's two sets of 90sec/90sec (walk/run) then two sets of 3min/3min. And the warm up and cool down, of course.
In other areas, my size 18's are getting very loose on me. They're still fully wearable, but they bunch in weird ways now, so they're uncomfortable in long periods. I also have that size 16 pair that I got from Old Navy, and those are loose too. I still think they're more of an 18, but it was nice to think of myself as a 16. heh. It's ok though, soon I'll really be a 16! You know what would be really cool? If I skipped 16 all together. If I can manage to wear my 18's without them falling off, till I'm small enough to fit a 14. That would be sooooo awesome. hahahaha I can't wait. :)
So, needless to say I'm extremely happy. Life is good.

Annoyed
The boyfriend knocked the Wii sensor on the floor behind our TV last night, and didn't want to pick it up till today, and I can't reach it. Which means no weigh in this morning. Grr. Oh well, maybe if I'm super lucky it'll be under 200 tomorrow when I weigh in. My 6 weeks of no exercise is up, so if it's not raining too hard when I get off work, I'm going to restart my couch to 5k. That'll give my metabolism a jumpstart for sure. I was going to do the elliptical today at lunch, but I forgot to pack my gym clothes. Maybe I'll come back to work and do the elliptical if it's raining. Then I can just come in, do what I have to do and leave when I'm done, and shower at home. That's a really good idea. I might just do that.

2-0-freakin'-9
Yeah, you read that right. 209lbs. I lost over 5 lbs this morning. I guess my camping trip took a few days to catch up to me. I was expecting this loss when I got home from camping, but as you know, I actually gained a little weight. Here's photographic evidence, just in case it jumps back up again tomorrow (lol):
I haven't run this week. I'm working on the things I need for my surgery next week, oh - did I mention that it got moved up to NEXT MONDAY? I'm not ready... omg. What was I saying? Oh yeah, getting ready for my surgery next week. I had labs yesterday (meaning they took blood from my arm) and I have my Pre-Op appointment today. And on Wednesday when I was supposed to run, I didn't have my truck with me (the BF had it) so I couldn't go meet my running buddy, Brandy, at the park. Which for me meant, hey, I can wait on that till tomorrow. Well, tomorrow got busy and it never happened. Grr.
I'm going to try to run this weekend, but we'll see. I wanted to get week 2 of the couch to 5k this week, so that I'd be further ahead after my surgery. I won't be able to run for awhile because ... no bouncy bouncy. I will jump back on the elliptical though, asap.
So life was a little sucky yesterday, I was feeling down and very stressed out, from the surgery coming up, from the labs I had to do yesterday (needles - ICK/OUCH).

This week was a wash.
This week sucked, weight loss wise. Not only have I not lost weight, I've gained! I know what I did wrong. So I know why it's this way, but I'm still not happy about it. I've been eating like I'm starving. I keep trying to shove things in my mouth that I shouldn't be. On top of that, I've been drawing out my eating. Somewhere inside, I keep feeling like I'm not eating enough, so when I get full, I stop for a few minutes, then go eat some more. Grr. WTF is wrong with me?
Then, in addition to the bad eating, I also went out drinking Saturday. Which is so not good. Especially since I was drinking White Russians, which have cream or half-n-half in them. So talk about liquid calories! I ate a really greasy deep fried onion ring while I was there too. Mmmm tasty.
On the exercise front I did pretty good last week. If it hadn't been for the food, I would have probably lost a few pounds. I did the elliptical twice, and went running once, and the rest of the week I walked. Even on my day off!!
About the run... that was great. I got a knee brace, because the last couple times I ran I had trouble with it because my knee, and leg started hurting so bad I was limping home. Well, the knee brace worked wonders. It didn't hurt at all, except for the general soreness you get all over from running. Now that my right knee doesn't hurt so much, I'm finding that my left knee is on it's way out too. lol - so I'm gonna have to get a second one, and I'll be running with two braces on. I did 8 out of 9 run segments by the way! Go me! So I'm officially starting week one of the Couch to 5k. I'll be doing "Day 2" on Wednesday. I was going to do it today, but I forgot to bring my knee brace with me. Maybe if I have time, I'll do it after work. Maybe. Don't count on it though.
So, back to the weight talk... I'm back up to 222 lbs. which isn't a horrible amount back on, but it negates this whole week. Unless on my official day I'm down like 3 pounds, then I can't even count this week for loss.

Down then Up
I weighed myself Sunday and was down to 222 lbs! Freakin' Yay!! But I wasn't eating well on Friday, or Saturday for that matter, and that all caught up to me today. Stepped on the scale today and I was back up about a half pound. Enough to shove me back to 223 lbs. That's ok though. It's Monday, and that's a common occurrence for Mondays. I'll be back to 222 by tomorrow I'm sure. I usually am.
For exercise this weekend, I was supposed to go back to the Couch to 5k program, Saturday, with my BF, but there was this big hullabaloo and long story short, I didn't go. To make up for it, I walked to Eugene from my house yesterday, which is a 2.5 hour walk. I did the elliptical today, which I really didn't want to do, but needed to do. I think I'm going to stick to that for this week instead of running. I'll wait till I weigh a little less to start the running back up again. The last two times I tried, my right leg/knee hurt really badly. I don't want to mess it up. I don't want to make excuses either, so that's why I'm back to the elliptical. Besides, there are cute guys in the gym. lol
According to the machine, I burned over 200 cals. on the elliptical today, and so far I've only had one SF Rice pudding to eat, and my vitamins. So I've burned more than I've taken in. I haven't had lunch yet, cause I wasn't hungry after working out. I have another SF pudding sitting here, open, untouched. I was gonna have eggs, but never had time to go down and buy them. And now, it's almost time to go home.
Oh well, what can you do? I guess I won't feel as guilty for snacking later at home this way.

Skipped over 225
It's my official Tuesday weigh in day, and boy what a surprise I got! I skipped the 225 mark entirely, and went directly to 224 by losing 2 pounds! How exciting is that??
I was telling my BF the other day that this is like a video game, a roleplaying video game, like Final Fantasy. I get positive reinforcement for doing the right thing, I "gain levels" or rather... Lose Levels! lol .. As long as I keep playing the game.
If you're curious about what I've been eating, here's a list of what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast: 1 S.F. rice pudding cup
Snack: water.... lol - it's true! I was getting hungry so I drank water.
Lunch: a few bites of General Tso's chicken
Snack: 2"x2" piece of cake, with filling on it, and some frosting
Snack: 2 tbsp. tropical crab salad, minus some of the pineapple.
Dinner: 3/4 in. slice of giant hoagie sandwich, and 1 chip
Mind you, I don't normally eat cake. That was my leftover piece from the other day when we were watching movies. There's still some of that same piece in the fridge. And I overestimated about how much I ate of it. The rest though, is pretty accurate. Especially the breakfast. That sugar free pudding is what I have almost every morning, because my band is especially tight in the morning.
I discovered recently some foods that I cannot eat:

- Overcooked pork chops.

Good weekend...
There was a going away party on Friday night. Went to my brother-in-law's house and said goodbye to Angel. She's going into the military. Played pool, drank 2 TGIF's Pina Colada's, the first one another shot or two of Coconut Malibu Rum was added. The second one didn't get anything extra. I also had a butter baby shot. Overall it was a good night. I got really drunk, and flirted with people. That was fun. :)
Saturday we went jogging, and I repeated day 1 of the Couch to 5k, later we watched Harry Potter 4, as we wanted to watch them all before going to see the new one on Tuesday. While watching the movie I ate some more of my leftover birthday cake, and a few bits of popcorn. I also did 3 sets of ten situps on this day too. After the jog.
Sunday I weighed myself and I was up .4 lbs. Not enough to be really concerned about though.
This morning I weight myself, and I'd lost the .4 and then some. I was down to 226 lbs!! I can't wait till tomorrow! I'm hoping to see 225. That will be awesome. I'm doing really well!
Later today, about 10:30 I'll be going jogging again. Gonna repeat the first day of couch to 5k, again. Because I still can't do all the run segments. When we did it on Saturday, I was able to kick out 6 sets, without my asthma meds!! Yay! And of course, I did walk the remaining time, so I wasn't just skipping out on the whole thing, just the running part. Wish me luck that I'll be able to kick out 7-8 of the 9 segments today. If I can do that, it'll be the last day I repeat day one, and I'll move on to day 2 on Wednesday.
Current weight: 226lbs.

Free Day
Today is my free day. I'm going to have half a donut (if I am able) and am not doing any exercise today. I might walk some, but not unless I'm really antsy. Tomorrow is my next Couch to 5k day. It should have been today, but I'm holding out till tomorrow so I can run with my BF. He better not make me look bad. lol
I have a party to go to tonight. There will be drinking, but I'm not feeling well, so I don't know if I'm going to partake.
I lost enough weight to get to 227lbs. So I'm well on my way to my boob-job goal! Yay me!
Current weight:227 lbs.

Couch to 5k - Day 1
Day 1 of Couch to 5k....Hell. Officially.
I did most of the run but not all. I did all the walk though. So I think there were 8 total segments of running, out of which I did like...5? The rest of the time I was walking and panting for breath. lol No biggie though. I did 5 of them this time, I'll try for 6-7 next time. I may have to repeat week one to get me up to the 8 run segments. My legs are killing me right now, and my lungs are raw. Feels good to know I tried so hard though.
There were a couple times, on the run segments that I had to close my eyes and in my mind I kept repeating "just keep swimming swimming swimming. just keep swimming." from Finding Nemo, lol, so that I wouldn't give up. And I barely made it to the bing sound that signaled the segment change.
I'm going to do day 2 on either Friday or Saturday, depending on how my legs feel.
Current weight: 229 lbs

Cake is not conducive to weight loss.

The bad phase is over now, and I'm back to being good again. It's not like I even ate all that much yesterday anyway. I had a s.f. pudding for breakfast, half a cup of homemade soup for lunch, 2-3 pork rinds for a snack, the cake, and then about a tablespoon of BBQ beef and melted cheese for dinner. The cake couldn't have been that bad if that's all I ate. Really.

Lunchtime Runner
For my second post of the day I will talk about the second fill that I forgot to mention the other day.
I went in on Friday at lunch and saw the temp doctor that's filling in (heh, filling in) until my center gets a permanent replacement. I think her name was Dr. Hughes. She wasn't a very personable but she got the job done. I told her that I wanted .5cc's to 1cc and she asked me why? She said that she's usually more aggressive. She offered to give me 2cc's, I said I'd compromise with her and get 1.5 cc's. She agreed.
The way she did it was a little different from Dr. Yarbrough. I had the skin numbing cream, and with Dr. Y, he gave me a little pain shot so it wouldn't hurt when the bigger needle went in. Dr. H said that the little pain shot made it harder to get in the second needle, and the other needle wouldn't hurt that bad.
So I tried it her way. It didn't hurt all that bad getting the shot. It did seem to go smoother. She got in there, injected the saline and got back out. It did hurt a bit more after she pulled it out, but nothing to write home about.
She had me drink some water, and I could feel the restriction, but had no problems drinking water. I went home and did my pudding test, and sure enough there was a good restriction. It took me a lot longer to eat this pudding than on the first fill.
So I'm happy on that front. I already mentioned some of the stuff I've been eating. My portions are dramatically reduced. Because I'm tighter in the morning, most mornings I just have a sugar free pudding.
In other news... I went for a walk on lunch today and decided to run for part of it. Out of the 45 minute walk, I probably did 1/5 to 1/4 worth running. It felt pretty good. When I got back to the building I was sweating horribly and my face was beet red. It's still a little hot out. I need to run in the shade. lol
I've decided that sometime this week I'm going to start the couch to 5k.
